A girl named Reshma Begum, who was trafficked to Saudi Arabia in July 2017, has been rescued from Riyadh, ANI reported.

Speaking to ANI, Hyderabad-based Begum said she was forced to go there on the pretext of a nursing job. However, once there, she was stuck as a house maid, and was beaten and tortured by the owners every day.

I was forced to go there. I didn’t get the job I was initially offered. When I reached Riyadh, they told me you have not been called here for the nursing job, instead they made me a house maid. After I joined the job, the owners used to beat me and torture me every day.
