RBI Increases Daily Cash Withdrawal Limit at ATMs to Rs 10,000

In a major relief to those queueing outside ATMs, the daily withdrawal limit has been increased to Rs 10,000.

  • The Reserve Bank of India on Monday increased the ATM withdrawal limit of a card from Rs 4,500 to Rs 10,000 per day, with immediate effect.
  • This increased limit will be within the weekly cap of Rs 24,000, the central bank said.
  • The withdrawal limit of current accounts have been raised from Rs 50,000 to Rs 100,000.
