1. Husband Stabs Wife 14 Times Suspecting Infidelity - IE

Ludhiana: Suspecting his wife of infidelity, a man in Ludhiana stabbed his estranged wife 14 times in the abdomen, legs, back and arms, in full public view, according to the Indian Express. The victim was later rushed to a nearby hospital by people who had gathered around. They were also able to nab the  accused and hand him over to the authorities.

2. Conman Arrested for Harassing Two Women - TOI

Hyderabad: Police have arrested a con artist who was trying to sexually exploit unemployed women by promising them jobs, reports Times of India. Claiming that he could get them jobs, the accused asked two women to visit his office for an interview where he molested one of them.

3. Cyclist Slashed, Robbed of Cash - The Telegraph

Calcutta: Two armed men allegedly slashed the right arm of a 40-year-old salesperson, fired at him and robbed him of Rs 39,000, reports The Telegraph. One of the attackers also had a gun which he used to fire at the victim, but missed the target. Police have recovered a cartridge from the spot where the incident took place.

4. Minor Boy Sexually Abused in Ashram - Bangalore Mirror

Bangalore: A man who claims he is a doctor in Canada and staying in an ashram in Vidyaranyapura along with his seven-year-old son alleged that one of the ashram inmates who is also a minor sexually abused his son, the Bangalore Mirror reports.

A case under Section 377 of the IPC has been registered and investigations are on. The accused boy has been sent to a juvenile home.

5. Brutal Bopodi Murder Case Cracked; Two Held - Pune Mirror

With the arrest of two 19-year-olds from Bopodi, Government Railway Police (GRP) claimed to have cracked the case of a brutal murder of a resident of the same area. However, a third person involved in the murder is believed to be at large.

According to cops, Imtiyaz Babu Khan was murdered so ruthlessly that his body, which was found on the railway track between Khadki and Dapodi, could not be identified and it took police quite some time to do so, after visiting nearby areas to pick up clues.

6. 60-year-old Man Held for Raping Minor Daughter - Mid Day

Gurgaon: A 60-year-old man has been arrested here on charges of raping his minor daughter ‘several’ times, according to Mid-day. The 60-year-old man was arrested from his residence in Mehrauli near Gurgaon and sent to jail, local police have said.

7. Minor Raped Repeatedly by Employer’s Boyfriend -Bangalore Mirror

Bangalore: A 16-year-old girl from Uttarakhand has filed a complaint with the police alleging that her employer’s boyfriend brutally raped her 8-10 times between June 2014 and May 2015, according to the Bangalore Mirror.

When the victim complained to her employer, she was told to ‘deal with it’ herself and not inform anyone.

8. Seeking Son’s Custody, Man Stabs Estranged Wife in Broad Daylight - Mid Day

Mumbai: An estranged husband attacked his wife and her boss in broad daylight, the Mid-day reports.

The victim along with her boss, was heading towards a construction site in an SUV. They halted at an ATM to withdraw money and were inside the ATM enclosure when the victim’s husband attacked his estranged wife with a knife, causing several injuries to both his wife and her boss who tried to protect the victim.

9. Gurgaon Civil and Safdarjung Hospitals Turn Back Raped Minor - ToI

Gurgaon: A nine-year-old girl who, auhorities say, had been raped was allegedly denied treatment by two hospitals on various grounds, Times of India reports.

At the Civil Hospital, there was no medical staff to attend to the child. She was sent back home as there were no lady doctors in the night shift.
