1. Whistle-blower Shot At In Delhi
A whistle-blower was shot at in the national capital by unidentified motorbike-riding assailants. 40-year-old, Chetan Prakash Sharma had helped conduct many sting operations on corrupt policemen. Luckily, he survived the attack.
Two men on a bike opened fire at Sharma. A call to the police control room was made around 11 pm by a passer-by and then the whistle-blower was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, a police officer said.

2. Actress Neetu Agarwal Who Funded Red Sanders Smuggling Held
A Telugu actress was arrested from her Hyderabad home on Sunday morning for allegedly financing red sanders smuggling activities through her lover Kondampalli Mastan Vali.
Prima facie we have established that Neetu Agarwal transferred huge amounts to Vali’s bank accounts. He used the money to finance red sanders smuggling. Vali was arrested earlier for his involvement in smuggling and spent six months at Rajahmundry Prison. Some smuggling cases against him are in trial stage.

3. Joint I-T Commissioner Arrested for Molesting Woman, Again
A 35-year-old income-tax joint commissioner was arrested for allegedly molesting and abusing a woman in Mumbai. The officer from Gujarat had also been earlier booked for allegedly molesting and sending lewd messages to the same woman, and her minor sister.
The commissioner started abusing the woman and threatened her, saying he would throw acid on her if she informed the police

4. Arabul arrested on extortion charge
Expelled Trinamul strongman and former Bhangar MLA, Arabul Islam, was arrested for an alleged extortion bid during which officials of a realty project in Rajarhat were assaulted and bombs hurled.
Arabul and his associates went to the project site near Vedic Village around 7.30pm on Friday and demanded money. When the officials refused, they were pummelled with blows and hit with iron rods. The group also hurled bombs and threatened the officials with dire consequences.

5. Chef robbed by gang of juveniles
A 35-year-old chef working with a five-star hotel was stabbed and robbed by a group of men near Chirag Dilli flyover Iin Delhi. The incident took place when the chef was on his way back from work in the wee hours of Saturday.
Police said a team has been formed to scan the area and find out the accused. They appear to be a gang of juveniles active in the area. A case of armed robbery under section 394 IPC has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.
