1. Man Kills Constable in Ahmedabad Crime Branch Office

According to The Indian Express, a suspect in a loot and narcotics case killed a constable at the office of Ahmedabad Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) on Thursday. The accused managed to get away from the DCB office after murdering the constable and was later arrested from the Karjan railway station in Vadodara.

According to crime branch officials, the accused Manish Balai killed Chandrakant Makwana, when he was being questioned by the constable.

2. Domestic Help Found

Dead Outside Employer’s House in Delhi

A 19-year-old woman, who worked as a domestic help was found dead outside her employer’s house on Thursday in New Delhi.

The deceased, Kajal, who is from Assam had reportedly fallen from the fourth floor of the building.

However, the police are waiting for the autopsy report to confirm whether she was murdered or if she died due to an accident.

3. 25-Year-Old Arrested For Killing Two People

A 25-year-old man allegedly killed two persons on the outskirts of the Nagpur city with a stone on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the accused, Gyaneshwar killed Shyamrao Khade (47) and Om Giri (35) with a heavy stone, on two separate occasions.

Gyaneshwar, who is believed to be suffering from a psychological ailment was arrested within hours of the incident.

4. Ex-MLA’s Associate Arrested in Odisha

A close associate of former MLA (Sanakhemundi) Ramesh Jena was arrested on Thursday after an exchange of fire at Berhampur, Odisha.

The accused, Danda Moharana (40) incurred bullet injuries in his left leg during the encounter which took place at Madhuri village under K Nuagaon police station limits.

Moharana is wanted in at least 23 different cases.

5. BJP Worker Shot Dead in Meerut

Five persons allegedly murdered a BJP youth worker, identified as Mohit (28) in Meerut. Reportedly, Mohit was shot dead by the five persons in a dispute over a girl.

The BJP traders’ have asked the police to catch the accused within 24 hours, otherwise, they will stage a protest.

6. Robber Nabbed By Two Constables in Mumbai

According to Times of India, an armed robber was successfully chased down by two constables who were off duty in Mumbai. Anant Shirsath (26) and Abhijeet Salukhe (28) caught the robber, who is in his 20s and recovered Rs 1 lakh from him, which the accused allegedly stole.

The two constables are set to be rewarded by the police.

7. Arthur Road Jail Inmates Given VIP Treatment

According to Times of India, the former CMO of the Arthur Road jail has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis stating that the inmates are being given VIP treatment by the prison authorities in return for money.

Ranjit Patil, the Minister State for Home (Urban) said that strict action will be taken against those found guilty.

8. Two Arrested For Murder in Ahmedabad

According to Times of India, two persons were arrested by the Ahmedabad police in connection with the murder.

The deceased was insured for nearly Rs 3 crore. The accused had allegedly electrocuted their brother six months ago and the family claimed the insurance money after stating that man was accidentally electrocuted.

9. Three Persons Booked For Murder in Ahmedabad

According to Times of India, three persons allegedly stabbed a youth to death in Ahmedabad after having a scuffle on the previous day.

An FIR has been registered against Mohsin Qureshi, Tausif Shaikh and Mohammed Ismail Shaikh. The deceased Mohammed Khalil Ansari’s friend Sabir Shafi filed the complaint.
