1. Couple Kill Minor Son, Commit Suicide

A couple in their twenties killed their son and then committed suicide by hanging themselves afterwards.

The police reached the spot to find all three of them hanging inside their house. The couple, Puran Kushwah, 25 and his wife Seema, 22 seem to have been embroiled in a family dispute which resulted in them taking serious action. The case is under Investigation.

2. Step-Mother and Lover Kill Infant Girl, Arrested

A one-year-old girl was drowned to death by her step-mother along with her lover. Both of them have been arrested by the police. The accused Sunita and her lover, Atik Ahmed have been booked for killing the infant girl as per the police.

Incidentally, the father of the girl had filed a missing report last week. The duo was nabbed with the help of CCTV footage available that showed the accused leaving her house with the girl but returned home empty handed.

3. Man Immolates Mother for Failing to Find a Girl for Him

A 40-year-old man is said to have tied his ailing mother to a chair and burnt her alive.

The accused, Amarnath Prasad, 40, confessed to having killed her because she could not find him a suitable bride. Prasad worked as a cab driver and has been charged with murder and sent to prison.

4. SHO Arrested for Torture

A Delhi Police SHO has been arrested for allegedly torturing a woman because of which she committed suicide. The woman, 33 said to be the girlfriend of an absconding criminal consumed poison and left a suicide note accusing the inspector, Dinesh Kumar for assaulting her.

According to the police, she had come to the Tis Hazari court to collect an application form. After a while, she was found unconscious outside the court area and later declared dead at a nearby hospital.

5. Gang of Six Selling Illegal Bikes Busted in Agra

A six-member gang of thieves stealing motorcycles have been arrested by the police in Agra on Sunday. The police have recovered 18 vehicles from their possession and three country-made pistols with live cartridges.

One of the six accused, Ramgyan was a wanted  criminal on the list of the authorities. The gang was majorly active in UP, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The gang used multiple

6. Man Kidnaps Neighbour’s Son, Held on Charges of Murder

A 26-year-old man was put behind the bars for allegedly kidnapping his neighbour’s son who he tried killing as well. The accused, Vikas Shrivastava abducted Anuj, 11 and took him in his car as per the police.

The moment Vikas realised that police were chasing him, he tried killing the kid, who somehow managed to escape.

7. Aged Woman Robbed & Murdered by Unidentified Men

A 76-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by couple of men in Punjab on Sunday. They also robbed her place and ran away with cash and gold ornaments kept in the house as per the police.

The victim, Rajinder Kaur was all by herself in the house. Her body was discovered by the family maid who informed the neighbours after seeing the aged woman’s body lying in a pool of blood.

8. Kidnapping Racket Busted; Gang Arrested by Police

A kidnapping gang with multiple previous cases have been arrested by the Haryana police. All four accused were nabbed during an ongoing operation wherein they had kidnapped Gurmaij Singh, a farmer from Kurukshetra on 27 April as per the police.

The arrest included the alleged kingpin of the gang, Pawan Kumar. The gang had dressed as Haryana police to kidnap Singh as per the police.

9. Woman Accuses Police Officer of Stalking, FIR Filed

In another case of unruly behaviour by a cop, a woman has alleged that a police inspector has been stalking her. Although the accused has not been arrested, but an FIR has been registered with further investigation on the matter being done.

The complain of stalking was reported after the woman accused the man of sending obscene messages via Whatsapp to her.
