The Prime Minister is back in Delhi after a whirlwind five-nation tour.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi on Friday morning after a five-nation tour. His tour concluded with his visit to Mexico on Thursday.

  • His first stop was Afghanistan where he unveiled the India-Afghanistan Friendship Dam. Twenty-three Indian prisoners were released from Qatar, just after his visit to the Arab nation.

  • Switzerland, Mexico and the US endorsed India’s bid to join the NSG, when the Prime Minister visited these countries. During his US visit, Modi had detailed discussions with President Barack Obama and addressed a joint sitting of the US Congress, thereby becoming the the fifth Indian leader to address the Congress.
