Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget of the Modi 2.0 government on Friday, 5 July, at 11 am. It will be Sitharaman’s first Budget under the newly-elected NDA-led BJP government.
This comes a day after the Economic Survey 2018-19 was presented in Parliament. It projected the GDP growth rate for the fiscal year 2019-20 at 7 percent, up from 6.8 percent in the previous year.
