Pakistan Confirms Indian Army Jawan Chandu Chavan Is in Custody

  • Pakistan Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) on Thursday acknowledged that it has Indian Army jawan Chandu Chavan in custody.
  • Chavan belongs to the Borvihir village in Dhule district and is being detained in Pakistan for accidentally crossing the border.
  • The 22-year-old Chandu Chavan, who was planning to get married around Diwali, was part of the 37 Rashtriya Rifles.
