A mob killed a police officer and a civilian over alleged cow slaughter on Monday, 3 December, in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.
The police officer, Subodh Kumar Singh, was the investigating officer in the 2015 case of Mohammed Akhlaq, who was lynched on suspicion of cow slaughter.
