After attending a banquet dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday, 25 February, United States Donald Trump along with wife Melania Trump departed from Delhi.

Addressing a press conference earlier, Trump said, “PM Modi said he wants people to have religious freedom. They have worked really hard on it. I heard about the individual attacks but I did not discuss it. It is up to India.”

Speaking at a meeting with CEOs in the day, Trump said that the “markets” will shoot up by “thousands” of points if he wins the upcoming US presidential election.

Earlier, during the joint press statement with PM Modi, Trump said that the two countries agreed to cooperate to deal with “radical Islamic terrorism.” Modi, in his address, too said that they have decided to enhance efforts to hold supporters of terrorism accountable.
