  • S Gurumurthy, the editor of Tamil magazine Thuglak, has been summoned by the Arumugasamy Commission, an inquiry commission headed by a retired high court judge to probe late AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa's death, on 28 June.
  • Following renowned political commentator Cho Ramaswamy’s demise, the reigns of his magazine, were taken over by Gurumurthy, who’s an RSS ideologue.
  • In her affidavit, Sasikala stated that she was evicted from Poes Garden residence in 2011 on confidant Ramaswamy’s advice to the former Tamil Nadu CM.
