After Leh, the headquarters and largest town of the union territory of Ladakh, was shown on Twitter as part of China, the government expressed its disapproval of the "misrepresentation of the map of India".

“Showing Ladakh as part of China is against the sovereignty of India and amounts to a criminal offence with imprisonment of seven years,” Meenakshi Lekhi, BJP MP, was quoted as saying.

According to sources cited by ANI, representatives of e-commerce giant Amazon also appeared before the committee, while representatives of Google and a few other companies will be present on Thursday.
