1. Boy Sodomised by 4 Minors
A Class 4 student was allegedly sodomised by four other boys under Dankaur police station in Greater Noida, the police said on Sunday. They have booked all four accused under appropriate sections. However, the minors have not been apprehended so far.
The man (victim’s father) told the police that he took his son to a nearby private hospital after the boy complained of severe pain in the private parts. The doctors examined the boy and told the father that he had severe infection. They also told the father that they suspected the boy had been sodomised.
The victim told his family that he was being sodomised for the last two months.

2. Woman Alleges Rape at Ashram, 3 Arrested
A 23-year-old woman has alleged that she was raped by a self-styled yoga and spiritual guru at his ashram in west Delhi.
The matter came to light when the woman approached the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) through email on Friday.
An FIR was filed in the matter on Friday under IPC sections 376 (rape) and 120B (criminal conspiracy), and three people — including two women — were arrested on Sunday.
“The main accused, Hari Narayan, has been arrested along with an ashram employee and another 25-year-old woman, who is the survivor’s colleague,” DCP (west) Monika Bhardwaj said.

3. Domestic Help Alleges Army Major of Rape, Killing Husband
A domestic help alleged molestation and assault by an Army Major, and that he had killed her husband. An FIR has been lodged, however, the accused, Major Gaurav, has not been arrested yet.
The incident happened in July, however, the FIR was lodged in September after the intervention of the court. The woman has alleged in her complaint filed that because she is poor her complaint was not heard by the police.
She alleged that the Major first beaten her husband and then killed him. The woman in her complaint has requested the police to take stringent action against the Major.

4. 3 Booked for Forcefully Performing Circumcision on 10-Year-Old
Ludhiana police on 30 September booked three people for allegedly performing circumcision on a 10-year old boy in Machhiwara.
The child, in his statement, told police that the accused wanted to ‘convert’ him forcefully.
The boy was admitted to a hospital in serious condition on 28 September following the incident and an FIR against Mohammad Mobin and two of his unidentified accomplices was registered at Machhiwara police station.
However, no arrests have been made yet.

5. Spurned by Woman, Man Rapes Her Infant
A 20-year-old man, who was arrested on 29 September for allegedly raping a one-year-old girl and molesting her four-year old sister in Indore, targeted the two girls to seek revenge against their mother for spurning his advances, police said on 30 September.
Indore deputy inspector general (DIG) of police Harinarayanchari Mishra said they arrested the accused, a distant relative of the survivors’ family, on the basis of the four-year-old ’s statement.
The two girls were sexually assaulted at an under-construction building, of which their father is a caretaker, police added.
“The accused, who works as a guard at a nearby building, confessed to the crime. He said he wanted to have a relationship with the girls’ mother but she was avoiding him,” Mishra said.

6. Teacher Held for Raping 8-Year-Old Student in Bihar
A teacher was arrested on 30 September for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl in Bihar's East Champaran district, police said.
The teacher was arrested from Naya Tola Husaini village under the jurisdiction of Dumariya Ghat police station, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Chakia sub-division, Shailendra Kumar, said.
The teacher runs a private coaching institute in the village and he raped the girl, his student, on Saturday evening, the DSP said.
He was arrested after the girl's father lodged an FIR with the Dumariya Ghat police station, he said.
The girl was admitted to Sadar hospital and a medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape, the DSP said.
The accused has confessed to his crime, the police officer said.

7. Two Arrested for Duping Home-Buyers
Two members of a ‘gang’, who duped potential home-buyers by posing as property dealers and extracting token money for fake property, were arrested in Noida Sector 19 on 28 September, police said.
“The accused said they are members of a six-person gang led by one Shri Prakash. They have been charged with cheating and forgery. We are currently looking for the other members of this group,” police added.
As per police, the accused would take Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh as token amount and four-five months later, they would change their office address.

8. Man Booked for Sexually Harassing Girl
A 58-year-old man was booked for sexually harassing his 28-year-old neighbour on 30 September. The incident took place in Bhopal’s Yugantar Colony.
Awadhpuri police who have registered a case, said the complainant was cleaning mud and trimming plants in front of her house when the elderly neighbour came there and entered into an argument with her.
The situation soon turned violent and the neighbour slapped the woman and pounced on her with an intention to sexually harass her. Shocked over the incident, the girl later approached police with her brother and got a case registered.
The cops said that a case has been registered and the matter remains under investigation.

9. 50-Yr-Old Killed in College Campus in Varanasi
A 50-year-old man, who worked at a college in Kachnar village, Varanasi, was found dead in the campus , police said on 30 September.
The deceased, Subhash Patel, a resident of Marui village in the district, was lying in a pool of blood when the police reached his residence in the college premises.
Some unidentified men allegedly killed him with a sharp edged weapon on 29 September police said, adding that the assailants destroyed the CCTV camera and set on fire some documents kept in the office.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and a man hunt launched to nab the accused.
