As the country remembers the horrific 26/11 Mumbai attacks, senior photojournalist Sebastian D’Souza, whose first-ever photograph of Ajmal Kasab became crucial visual evidence in the 26/11 trial, still awaits the house promised to him by Maharashtra as a token of thanks.

For his services to the state, the Maharashtra government presented him with a residential flat in Thane. The veteran photojournalist however, is yet to get access to the accommodation.

The builder said he would not be able to sign an agreement for the flat due to a long pending legal dispute with the land owner in the Bombay High Court
