There’s no stopping Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb. In the past days, Mr Deb has given the internet many... ahem... interesting remarks. On Sunday, 29 April, he said that instead of running after political parties for government jobs and wasting ‘crucial time,’ the youth should instead milk cows or set up a paan shop to earn a living.

Why run after netas for government jobs? Graduates should get cows and milk it to earn Rs 10 lakh in 10 years. Instead of running after political parties, had the same youth set up a paan shop, he would have had a bank balance of Rs 5 lakh by now.

A day earlier, Mr Deb had said that civil engineers should join civil services because they apparently have the “prior experience” to build society. Three days ago, he had questioned the crowning of Diana Hayden as Miss World 20 years ago, and unfairly compared her with Aishwarya Rai, Miss World 1994.

The internet has, of course, turned all this gyaan into many LOL-worthy tweets.
