Prime Minister met Maryam Asif Siddiqui, the Mumbai girl who won the Gita contest which was arranged by ISKCON last month. He took to Twitter to announce this.

Modi also expressed his happiness when Siddiqui donated Rs 11,000/- each to PM relief fund and Swachhata Abhiyan (the ambitious cleanliness drive of Narendra Modi).

Siddiqui, a class six student of Mumbai, defeated over 4000 contestants to emerge as the winner. She had earlier donated her felicitation money to Gujarat CM for girls’ education. And now her exemplary gesture towards these causes have attracted the 12-year-old a new friend, the prime minister himself.

Way to go girl. :)
