West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee welcomed the officials of India and Pakistan Cricket Boards to meet at Kolkata in the wake of Shiv Sena workers protest at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai.

Shiv Sena workers barged into the BCCI headquarters in protest against Board president Shashank Manohar’s planned talks with PCB chief Shaharyar Khan for resumption of bilateral cricketing ties. The talks on the proposed bilateral series have now been rescheduled. It will be held in Delhi on Tuesday.

The PCB chief Shaharyar Khan has already left for Delhi.
