Terrorist Attack on Army Post in Kashmir
Terrorists attacked an army post in Bandipora’s Hajin in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, 5 June. Nearly four to six terrorists came from two sides of the camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles and Hajin police station and fired around eight Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) towards the army and the police.

Amit Shah Met Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray
BJP president Amit Shah on 6 June met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai for a meeting which is seen with much significance since the two allies have been bickering for quite some time.
Shah, accompanied by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, met Thackeray at the latter's residence Matoshree.
The BJP has said the meeting is in connection with its Sampark for Samarthan (contact for support) campaign being led by Shah in the run up to next year's Lok Sabha polls.
Unwell Lata Cancels Meeting With Amit Shah
BJP president Amit Shah who was to meet singer Lata Mangeshkar on 6 June, and share the Modi government's achievements as part of his party's "contact for support" campaign, will not be able to do so.
Mangeshkar tweeted that she was unwell with food poisoning and she spoke to Amit Shah over the phone.
