Petrol and Diesel Prices Continue to Decline

Petrol and diesel prices in Delhi on Tuesday, 13 November are Rs 77.43 per litre, which is a decrease of Rs 0.13 and Rs 72.19 per litre, which is a decrease of Rs 0.12, respectively. Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai are Rs 82.94 per litre, a decrease of Rs 0.13 and Rs 75.64, a Rs 0.12 decline.

Israel, Hamas Trade Heavy Fire After Deadly Incursion

Palestinian militants bombarded Israel with dozens of rockets and mortar shells on Monday, 12 November, while Israeli warplanes struck targets throughout the Gaza Strip in what appeared to be the most intense exchange of fire since a 2014 war.

Palestinian officials said at least three people, including two militants, were killed by Israeli fire and nine were wounded, and an Israeli airstrike destroyed the ruling Hamas group's Al-Aqsa TV station in Gaza. In Israel, the national rescue service said at least seven people were wounded, including a 19-year-old soldier who was in critical condition.

Amnesty International has withdrawn its highest honor from Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi in light of what it said was the Nobel Peace Prize laureate's "shameful betrayal of the values she once stood for."

The human rights organisation announced on Monday, 12 November, that its secretary general, Kumi Naidoo, informed Suu Kyi that it was revoking her 2009 Ambassador of Conscience Award.
