Piyush Goyal Inaugurates Phoolbagan Metro Station in Kolkata

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated Phoolbagan Metro station (Kolkata) of East-West Metro on Sunday. Piyush Goyal also flagged off the first train from the newly inaugurated Phoolbgan station through video link, reported ANI, citing Ministry of Railways.

CBI Files a Case Against Ex Official, 4 Others for Conspiracy to Influence Ongoing Probe

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against six accused including a former CBI official. It was alleged that the accused were found in conspiracy to influence the ongoing investigation of a case, reported ANI, citing CBI.

CBI also said that It was further alleged that there was a demand of Rs 50 lakh from the accused company through one Chartered Accountant for influencing the ongoing investigation of a case in favour of the said company. The agency informed that they laid a trap, according to ANI.

Chartered Accountant and the former official were arrested for allegedly exchanging of Rs.25 lakh between them on behalf of said company.
