Wells Fargo to Pay USD 3 Billion to Settle Fake Accounts Scandal: US Govt
Wells Fargo has agreed to pay US regulators USD 3 billion to settle three investigations into the bank's damaging fake accounts scandal, the Department of Justice said on Friday.
The fine settles criminal and civil liability in the case in which the nation's fourth largest bank between 2002 and 2016 pressured employees to meet unrealistic sales goals that led to creating millions of accounts or credit cards without consent.

Gargi College Molestation Case: Students Meet DCW on Friday
Students of Gargi College met the Delhi Commission For Women on Friday to get a status update on the commission's probe into the alleged molestation of students at the college during a cultural festival.
The meeting on Friday lasted for an hour. The panel has called Delhi Police personnel on Saturday to seek their reply on the matter.

IIMC Students Call off Hunger Strike Against Fee Hike
Indian Institute of Mass Communication students on Friday said they have called off their hunger strike against a fee hike after the administration accepted their demands.
In a statement, the students said the last date for submission of second semester fees has been extended upto 31 March, 2020, or till the finalisation of the new fee structure, whichever is later.
