Woman's Family Beats Man After Both attempt to Elope
A man was beaten up for allegedly eloping with a woman in Patwai, Rampur.
"The man had eloped with a woman and her family beat him up. Cases have been registered against both the man and the family the of woman,” said Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Rampur.
Ranchi Man Attacks People with Knife Over Water Dispute
At least 4 people were injured after a man allegedly attacked them with a knife over a dispute regarding water in Ranchi’s Kishoreganj.
"Everyone needs water but they shouldn't fight. The government is working to provide water to every household," State Minister CP Singh said.

Delhi Jeweller Shot Dead
A 35-year-old man was shot dead by unknown assailants at his jewellery shop in Delhi’s Ranhola area on Friday, 7 June. One licensed revolver and two empty cartridges have been recovered from the scene. A murder case has been registered at PS Ranhola.

HC Rejects Plea of Firm Linked to Karti Against ED Freezing Its Bank Accounts
The Madras High Court dismissed a batch of petitions by a consulting firm allegedly linked to Congress MP Karti Chidambaram, the son of former Union minister P Chidambaram, challenging the freezing of its bank accounts by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the INX Media money laundering case.
