AFSPA Extended in 3 Districts of Arunachal Pradesh
The Centre extended the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Acts to three districts in Arunachal Pradesh, declaring them as 'disturbed area.
The three districts include Tirap, Changland and Longding of Arunchal Pradesh.

3 Naxals Dead in Chhattisgarh, 1 Captured After Police Encounter
Bodies of three naxals were recovered in Chhattisgarh after an encounter with the police on Wednesday.
Following the encounter, one naxal was captured alive. Other materials including 315 bore pistol, four country-made guns and a bomb were also recovered.
