300 More Chinese Arrested in Philippines Crackdown

Philippines immigration agents, backed by troops, have arrested more than 300 Chinese for alleged cyber crimes, a week after a similar number were detained during a raid linked to investment fraud.

The Bureau of Immigration late Tuesday said that 324 Chinese nationals were arrested in Puerto Princesa City on Palawan island during Monday's operation.

29 Bodies Found in Plastic Bags in Mexico Mass Grave

Mexican forensics experts have found at least 29 bodies stuffed in 119 plastic bags that were dumped in the bottom of a well outside the western city of Guadalajara, officials have said.

Experts have been working to establish how many victims are in the mass grave since it was discovered earlier this month in a remote area known as La Primavera, about a 45-minute drive outside Guadalajara, Mexico's second city.

US Justice Department Sues Snowden Over New Book

The US Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Edward Snowden seeking to prevent the former CIA employee and National Security Agency contractor from profiting from his new book.

The civil lawsuit against Snowden, who is living in Russia after leaking information about the US government's mass surveillance program, accuses him of violating non-disclosure agreements he signed with the CIA and NSA.

Trump Says He Does Not Want to Meet Iranian President During UNGA

US President Donald Trump said that he does not want to meet his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, even as he did not rule out a possibility in this regard on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly sessions in New York next week.

“I never rule anything out, but I prefer not meeting him,” Trump told reporters abroad Air Force One, when asked if a meeting with Rouhani was still possible or is that off the table for next week.
