Experts associated with internal security across the world called for a cooperation across police agencies and the need for a new approach to fight cyber crime. "New technology creates new criminal opportunities although criminals do not need a computer to commit a crime. One should realise that identity theft and such crimes associated with cyber crime existed even before the advent of computers.
