In yet another shocking instance, the body of a 30-year-old journalist was found hanging, under mysterious circumstances, inside a health centre in Jharkhand’s Vishrampur area, in the Palamu district, reported The Indian Express.

The journalist, identified as Rameshwar Keshri, is said to be associated with several vernacular newspapers, and was primarily involved in working for “sahiyas” in the sub-centre, said the police.

The investigation is currently underway in order to determine if this is a case of suicide or if any foul play is involved.

As per the information given by the police, the body was found hanging from the fan, with folded knees. It is reported that he had allegedly been working in the health centre in connection to a story, however, there are no witnesses to confirm assault or an attempt to commit suicide.

A fellow Palamu-based journalist stated that Keshri worked for the Rashtriya Naveen Mail and would regularly work with the sahiyas, however he said that he had no further information as to what transpired on the fateful day.
