It is said that there is learning doesn’t end at any age. 89-year-old resident of Koppal, Sharanabasavaraj Bisarahalli is among the people who have given this phrase a reason to exist. Being a freedom fighter, 89-year-old Bisarahalli now aspires to complete his PhD from Hampi University in Karnataka.
Bisarahalli already holds a degree in law from Karnataka University and has done his Master’s from Hampi Kannada University.
Talking to ANI, the 89-year-old freedom fighter said that he had attempted the exam last year as well, but failed. He also said that he wants to write a book on literature and Kannada poems.

At the age of 89 years, Bisarahalli is an inspiration for those who gave up on pursuing education early in their lives, for some reason or the other.
