On Bigg Boss, just before it wrapped up for this season, Sidharth Malhotra allegedly made a hugely offensive remark against the Bhojpuri language. And now, BJP’s MP from Delhi, Manoj Tiwari who has made a career in Bhojpuri cinema, is going to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against Malhotra.

While Malhotra was on the show to promote his upcoming film, Aiyaary, his co-star Manoj Bajpai asked him to recite some dialogues in Bhojpuri. He did so and commented that it gave him the feeling of being in the ‘latrine’(toilet).

Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were finally seen together at a Padmaavat event on Tuesday night in Mumbai. The couple who had been strictly advised to not be seen together till the release of the film were seen beaming and walking in hand in hand at a special screening of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

The makers of Padmaavat didn’t want any trouble from groups who were threatening the film’s team for allegedly showing any scene of Alauddin Khilji romancing Padmavati. However, once the Karni Sena on Tuesday announced that they did not have any issues with the film after having watched it, Deepika and Ranveer decided to go public together at the special screening.

5. Ali Fazal Proud of Oscar Nominations for 'Victoria & Abdul'

Actor Ali Fazal, who features with Hollywood Judi Dench in Victoria & Abdul, says he is proud that the movie has landed two Oscar nominations in two departments.

Consolata Boyle is nominated in the Best Costume Design category and Daniel Phillips and Lou Sheppard stand a chance to win Best Make-up and Hairstyling segment. "I'm so proud of my film. I know the hard work that was put in with every department and especially the costumes and make-up. And to hear we have got nominated in both categories is in itself a big achievement," Ali said in a statement.

“I remember sitting for hours in a day just for my fittings and markings. And how meticulously Consolata Boyle would tailor them to match the period we were depicting. It was like watching a painter unravel a masterpiece," said Fazal.
