The window to deposit old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes closes on 30 December. As the 50-day period ends, Ira Dugal of BloombergQuint caught up with Dr Ajay Shah, Professor at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, to discuss the effects that the demonetisation will have on the economy in 2017.
