After last year’s mess, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is hoping to nip it in the bud this time before the rain sets in, in all its glory. But given the wet circumstances, the civic agency believes roads may be in a worse shape than last year.
About 6,000 potholes have been identified across the city – 1,200 of these are craters (> 1 sq mt). The Palike has been given two Python (pothole-filling) machines and a sum total of 10 days to level up the 1,200 big ones.
