Two terrorists were reportedly killed after an encounter between security forces and militants in Bandipora’s Hajin in Jammu and Kashmir on the morning of Thursday, 30 August.

The encounter between militants and security forces had gone on for over five hours.

On the basis of a specific input, an operation was launched in Hajin by the Army, CRPF and the police. Two terrorists have been killed and the search operation is underway. Arms and ammunition have been recovered.

DC Bandipora’s Car Attacked

Deputy commissioner of Bandipora, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, was attacked by angry protesters in Nadihal area of the north Kashmir district on Wednesday, 29 August.

Choudhary was in the car when he was attacked by stone-pelters, reported Kashmir Reader.
