Earlier in the day, Modi addressed the 37th Singapore Lecture at the Shangri-La-Hotel. He remarked that both India and Singapore have been together at many crossroads of time and Singapore’s success is an inspiration to all Indians.

Singapore is a nation that has become a metaphor for the reality of dreams, it teaches us many things. For me, Lee Kuan Yew was a personal inspiration. From his Singapore stories, I drew many lessons.
