Modi’s Got Talent: Playing Drums With the Tanzanian President

Prime Minister Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome when he arrived at the State House in dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

The Prime Minister, who arrived in Dar-es-Salaam late on Saturday night on the third leg of his four-nation Africa tour, played the drums along with the Tanzanian President for nearly one minute.

Prime Minister Modi looked like he was enjoying the drumming session with the Tanzanian President. The latter appeared to halt briefly but resumed drumming again when he saw the Indian leader was in no mood to stop.

Modi’s was famously seen drumming away in Japan in September 2014 when he joined Japanese percussionists to perform a ‘jugalbandi’ with them.
