Two minors were taken into custody on Thursday for allegedly killing a 15-year-old student over mischief in their paan shop in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi, the police said.
The deceased, Rajat Menon, a class IX student at Salwan Public School, had left home around 6 pm on Wednesday and did not return. Later, it emerged that he had a fight with two teenagers, both sons of a local paan shop owner.Senior Police Officer

We have registered a case under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code, and apprehended the two accused. “No visible injury mark” was found on the victim’s body and the exact cause of death would only be clear after the autopsy report is received.
Late on Thursday, an outraged mob set the paan shop, owned by the family of the accused brothers, on fire, following which police was rushed to the spot.
