JNUSU President Kanhaiya Attacked By Bajrang Dal Workers in Nagpur

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was attacked by people allegedly belonging to the Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Nagpur, according to ANI reports.

The workers pelted stones on Kanhaiya’s car when he arrived to address a public gathering in Nagpur. Police have detained five people in this connection.

The RSS have their headquarters in Nagpur.

Kanhaiya arrived in Nagpur to address a meeting to mark 125th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. In the past, Kanhaiya has often spoken about being influenced by Ambedkar’s ideology.
