CBI Arrests Delhi Police SHO and Imposter in Alleged Bribery Case

The pair were arrested with bribe money worth Rs 3 lakh while a beacon car was also recovered.

CBI arrested a Station House Office (SHO) of Delhi Police and an alleged imposter in a bribery case on 2 May.

Kehar Singh, an SHO at Janakpuri Police Station and Ashutosh Singh allegedly conned people by posing as a Joint Secretary.

According to sources, Ashutosh Singh was charged with being an impostor and was seeking the help of the SHO to escape the charges for which they were negotiating the bribe money.

The pair were arrested with the Rs 3 lakh bribe money. A beacon car was also recovered from Ashutosh.
