Dia Mirza represented India at the United Nation Climate Action Summit 2019 in New York on 23 September. The Bollywood actor has been campaigning for the environment and has advocated against the use of single-use plastic. She met the UN General Secretary, António Guterres, and was also present while Greata Thunberg spoke about climate change.

The actor met António Guterres in the capacity of an SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) advocate.

It’s time we choose the sustainable development goals that suit us and start acting because we can’t have an equal world to live unless we understand the importance of climate change and what it’s doing to us.
