RRB Recruitment: Vacancies in SWR; Apply Before 15 July

As per a notification issued by the Railway Recruitment Cell on 20 June, South Western Railway has a number of vacancies. 20 posts of Goods Guard in level-5 are vacant in the Operating Department, 42 posts are vacant for Station Master in level-6 in the Operating Department and there are 117 vacancies for Junior Clerk-cum-Typists in level-2 in South Western Railway.

All these posts will be filled through the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE).

The last date to apply for the posts is 15 July. Interested candidates can apply for the same till 11:45 pm on the official website of RRC/SWR: http://rrchubli.in/.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be a separate CBT examination for each post.

The questions in the CBT will be in both Hindi and English. 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates selected under the GDCE will have to go through initial training for the duration period prescribed for Direct Recruits.

The hall tickets for the eligible candidates will be available on the website two weeks prior to the examination.

As of 1 July, the upper age limit for candidates from the General Category is 42 years. However, for candidates from the OBC category, the limit is 45 years and for candidates from the SC/ST categories, the age limit is 47 years.
