2 Students From Kolkata and Bengaluru Top ISC Exam With 100%

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results for ISC and ICSE 2019 board examinations on Tuesday, 7 May.

Kolkata's Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru's Vibha Swaminathan topped the Class 12 ISC examination with 100 percent marks. Meanwhile, Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muktsar's Manhar Bansal topped Class 10 ICSE exam with 99.60 percent.

  • The overall pass percentage for Class 12 has been recorded at 96.52 %, an increase of 0.31 percentage points as compared to 2018
  • Last year, the results for class 10 and class 12 exams were announced on 14 May
  • Girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.05% in the class 10 examination as against 98.12 % by boys
  • The pass percentage achieved by girls in class 12 examination is 97.84 % as against 95.40% of boys.

Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muktsar's Manhar Bansal have topped the Class 10 ICSE exam with 99.60 percent.

Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive, CISCE, said that the girls outshone boys in the ICSE exam.
