Patiala House Court in Delhi issued two non-bailable warrants against Vijay Mallya on Friday. The first, for allegedly evading summons in a FERA violation matter and the second in a 2012 cheque bounce case lodged by DIAL.

The court said that Mallya has scant regard for the law of the land and has no intention to return to India.

The court also added that Mallya's claim that he wants to return to India but his passport has been revoked was malafide and an abuse of process.
