Man Dies as Mob Attacks Two Over Battery Theft in Jharkhand
A 48-year-old man was beaten to death by a mob in Jharkhand’s Bokaro after he allegedly stole a battery from a vehicle, police said. Mubarak Ansari (48) and Akhtar Ansari (26) were attacked in Bokaro’s Govindpur early on Wednesday when they were returning home with the stolen battery, police said. As of now, police said, it does not appear that the two were attacked because of their religion.
This is the 22nd death due to mob violence in Jharkhand in the past three-and-a-half years.

Iran Says It Will Start Enriching Uranium at Midnight
Iran announced on Wednesday another step towards reducing its obligations under the 2015 nuclear deal, sparking concern by some of the remaining parties to the troubled agreement.
Iran's atomic energy agency said its Fordow plant would begin enriching uranium from midnight (2030 GMT).
