Thousands of followers of the self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim poured in Panchkula ahead of the CBI court’s verdict in a rape case against the Dera Sacha Sauda chief.
“We are here to support our Guruji in this case. We want the verdict to be in his favour. He has done nothing wrong in his entire life. (If the verdict isn’t in our favour) then we will protest on the streets”, Dera Follower said.
Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are on high alert ahead of the verdict. As article 144 has been imposed in various parts of Punjab, Ram Rahim blames the government for the current situation.
