An 18 months child accidentally slipped into an agricultural borewell in Vikarabad District of Telangana. The girl was reportedly playing with her elder sister when she fell into the approximately 40 feet deep borewell.
Efforts are underway to rescue the girl safely.
According to reports, the borewell was dug up a week ago, but was left uncovered after no water was discovered. Rescue operation immediately followed to extricate the girl from the well. Telangana Transport minister rushed to the spot to supervise the operation.
