In what has to be one of the most unique ways of voicing dissent against the government’s policies, locals and activists in Bengaluru conducted ‘last rites’ of ATMs in the city. Locals argued that since the machines have been cashless for almost a month, they are ‘dead’.
They have decided to take the ATMs off ‘life-support’ and are conducting their last rites.
