Stand-up comedian Anirban Dasgupta is the new entrant in the list of Amazon Prime’s specials in India. The Kolkata comic has made his way to the top with some excellent comedy but with his stand-up special ‘Take it Easy’, he takes it to the next level. From bashing his hometown Kolkata - admittedly a very rare Bengali trait - to going subtly political with his jokes, he does it all.

Anirban however believes that his special is more than bashing the city of Kolkata. He talks about how people leave the city to go and live in other metros. Of course, he doesn’t spare corporate life, marriage or kids either!

Anirban left his corporate job to find a career in stand-up comedy and a lot of his comic repertoire revolves around corporate life, how offices function, and the HR department.

This is my first job and I asked Anirban to help me out with a few tips and suggestions on how I am supposed to survive the corporate life and the stressful work environment. I asked him to give me solutions without asking me to quit my job because not everyone can be him. And here’s how the conversation went:

Bilal: How do I take it easy in a stressful work environment?

Anirban: Just know that we are all going to die.

Bilal: What should I do in office during the time of increment?

Anirban: Drive your boss home.

Bilal: I don't have a car.

Anirban: Drive the boss's car, Buy his groceries, pay his bills.
