How plausible does watching a solar eclipse from an airplane sound to you? Almost none, right? Well, Alaska Airlines have made this dream come true for many people. The flight from Alaska to Hawaii on 9 March 2016 was intentionally rerouted and delayed by 25 minutes so that the passengers can experience the total solar eclipse.

It is a blessing to even see a solar eclipse, but witnessing this spectacular sight from a plane is totally breathtaking. Watch this amazing scene for yourself.

The golden rings caught on camera with such precision totally takes one’s breath away. And apart from this video, there are also some pictures that some of the passengers clicked, that are, of course, a treat.
