When Melania Trump unwittingly ended up ripping off Michelle Obama’s speech from 2008, the Internet had a field trip trolling her. Here’s what the entire debacle looked like:

Later, however, Trump’s speechwriter, Meredith McIver, confessed to copying from the First Lady’s speech in a formal statement, reported The Hill.

In the meantime, Trump supporters lost no time in digging up similar instances where US President Barack Obama apparently plagiarised bits of speeches from erstwhile politicians.

They put out three videos to prove their point. The first video shows Obama plagiarising a two-year-old speech of American politician Deval Patrick.

The second video draws attention to a more glaring incident of plagiarism when once again, Obama ripped off from Patrick.

The third video shows a 2007 speech in which Obama’s speechwriters lifted from a 2003 speech of John Edwards.
