‘I’m Keeping Your Car’: Malala Yousafzai Gets Witty With Elon Musk
This Twitter exchange between Malala Yousafzai and Elon Musk will give you a glimpse into her humorous side.
While Tesla CEO Elon Musk continues to find himself in turbulence with the media, a recent post shared by a satirical website provided some much-needed comic relief when it triggered a conversation between Musk and, in an unlikely twist, Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.
It all began when the satirical website ClickHole shared an article taking a dig at Musk's relationship with the media, titled 'More Bad Press For Elon: The Car Elon Musk Launched Into Orbit Has Fallen Back Down to Earth And Crushed Malala Yousafzai'.
The black humour was actually taken quite well by the shooting survivor, who tagged Musk in a tweet saying:
And Malala's tweet was met with a prompt 'Hi' from Elon Musk's side.
What followed were a wry exchange, which also gave us a glimpse of Malala's humorous side.
And Malala's brother too joined in for a little sibling talk!
Malala Yousafzai, who had been shot in the head by Taliban gunmen in Pakistan six years ago for advocating education for girls, currently resides in England. In March this year, the Nobel Peace Prize winner undertook an emotional visit to her home country.
It was her first visit to Pakistan since she was shot in late 2012 and airlifted abroad for medical treatment. During the visit, Yousafzai reunited with her family and also met the country’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad.
