Thursday morning found the national capital submerged in much-needed rainwater. While the temperature drop was welcome, Delhiites could sure trade in the choc-a-bloc traffic and wading through sewage water for something more monsoon-friendly, like chai and pakodas.

After finally finishing a swimming marathon to get practically anywhere in the city, Delhiwallas took to Twitter to share their experiences in the great outdoors of Delhi’s pot-holed roads.

One guy thinks this should be Delhi’s new tourism advertisement – ‘Delhi, No Less Than Venice’.

And some others are begrudgingly sitting in office.

While another breaks his head against a hard surface.

Now, this person sure seems affected, they dedicated three great tweets to #DelhiRains.
